Mirror window, delayed localisation and merged cuts to Amplify
Piston 9.94 adds a mirror window for second screens, more control over localisation, and better Amplify sharing for merged cuts.
⭐️ New
- Open Mirror Window (macOS). Opens a second, video-only window that mirrors the Session Player. It is ideal for a secondary display, so you can draw, open sidebars and use MarkUps on the main window without any of it appearing on the mirrored output.
- Delay the start of localisation. When starting a session, begin localising from a chosen point in the capture rather than from the beginning.
- Localise from the playhead. A new option in the localisation menu starts localising from the current playhead position.
- Merged cuts to Amplify with metadata. Upload merged cuts straight to Amplify with JSON metadata, and Amplify creates an individual clip for each cut in its timeline.
🔨 Improved
- Camera groups. When a camera is in more than one group, only its token in the selected group is highlighted in the Start Session menu.
- Merged cut icon. Merged cuts in the Cuts List and Cuts Archive now show a dedicated icon on the thumbnail.
- Retrospective sharing. Merged cuts can be shared to Amplify with JSON metadata afterwards, from the archive or the Cuts List.
- Interface improvements to the Localisation Finalisation menu and the NRL API login screen.
