Select multiple markers, bulk cut and a default Composer for each session

Piston 9.96 speeds up the move from markers to finished clips.

☑️ Marker multi-select

• Redesigned Marker Sidebar. A new dropdown menu reduces clutter and makes navigation easier.
• Select Markers mode. Press markers in the sidebar to select them, or use Select All. Selecting markers activates new Cut and Composer actions.

✂️ Bulk cutting

• Cut many markers in one tap. Only markers that haven’t already been cut are processed. A progress indicator at the top of the screen shows how many cuts remain.
• Send selected markers to a Composer. Any that haven’t been cut are cut automatically, and then all cuts linked to the selected markers are added to the Composer.

🎬 Session Default Composer

A new Session Default Composer option in the Session dropdown menu lets you:

• automatically create a Composer named after the session and use it as the default destination, or
• choose an existing Composer as the session default, or
• pick No Default to keep the current behaviour of being asked each time cuts are sent.

🔨 Improved

• Cuts respect marker In and Out times. Manual and bulk cuts use the In and Out times set on a marker. If none are set, the usual 10 seconds before and after still applies.
• More Send to Composer options in the Cuts List. Send only filtered cuts, send only starred cuts, or use Send Selected to Session Composer to use your Session Default Composer.
