Updates / Piston Server

Scoreboard Overlay, Amplify Suite, Device Streams & Magewell Profiles

· Build 877

Scoreboard Overlay

  • Live scoreboard and game clock burned into recordings, with per-camera control of live-only or permanent burn
  • Twelve sports with sport-specific clocks, periods and extras (shot clocks, sets, sin-bins) and three basketball rule sets
  • Eleven visual themes with a drag-and-drop template editor, team logos and colours
  • Mobile operator console with a shareable tokenized link — drive scores from a phone
  • Scoreboard API for external controllers
  • Scheduled sessions can pre-fill their scoreboard setup

Amplify Upload

  • Per-organisation Amplify servers and upload targets, with per-user accounts
  • Upload confirmation dialog — choose up to four angles, include timeline data, and pick or create the destination folder
  • Folder picker with full tree browsing, search, create and delete, including shared team folders
  • Retry a failed upload into a different folder
  • Per-angle upload badges and re-upload buttons on the session page
  • Uploads survive software updates and pause safely when the server shuts down
  • Sessions created under shared logins can be uploaded by any user with an Amplify account
  • Upload button beside Analyse for sessions not originally set to upload

Piston App Camera Streaming

  • Stream a phone camera to the server over RTSP, RTMP or SRT with one-tap registration
  • One-button session start from the app — the camera profile and dropout slate are created automatically
  • Any published stream (drones, OBS) can become a camera profile with one click, slate included

Magewell

  • One-click standard camera profile pairs from the Magewell widget — 1080p50/p60/i50/i60, QSV or NVENC per output, automatic audio pairing
  • Per-device USB reset replaces the whole-module restart

General

  • Live session duration timer in the session title
  • Styled alerts and confirmation dialogs throughout
  • Warning instead of an error when starting a scoreboard session without burn-capable cameras
