Global settings and notification preferences
Set Amplify Mobile up the way you work. A new Global Settings cog on the Home Page controls mute, auto-play, default view, stepping and notification preferences.
📱 New Features
Added a Global Settings cog on the Home Page:
- User Profile settings have moved here (the user icon is no longer pressable).
- Global Mute Audio – choose whether audio is muted by default when opening a timeline (default: Muted).
- Auto Play Clips – set whether clips play automatically when tapped (default: Off).
- Default Timeline View – pick whether timelines open in Clip View or Full Timeline View (default: Clip View).
- Speed Adjustment Slider – customise skip forward/backwards time (default: 5 seconds).
- System Notifications – enable or disable all push notifications (default: On).
- Notification Preferences – choose which notification types to receive (tagged comments, replies, shared content).
Added swipe gestures in the Notification Centre:
- Swipe left to delete a notification.
- Swipe right to mark notifications as read or unread.
🔨 Improvements:
- Content shared with “Allow Downloads” can now be downloaded.
- Viewer accounts now land directly on the Shared With Me page.
- “Registration Complete” email links now redirect to the correct server login page and save the server to the list.
- Messages added to notifications now appear in notifications when content is shared.
- Repositioned buttons in the Notification Centre:
- Mark All as Read is now the primary purple button.
- Clear All has swapped position to prevent mistakenly being pressed.
- Moved the Mute button and Settings cog out of the video player in Composer and into the Composer toolbar (aligned with Timeline toolbar). Removed the scrubbing bar below the video.
