Custom fast-forward speeds and more landscape timeline tools

· Build 1.8.0

Take control of how you scrub through footage. Set your own fast-forward and rewind speeds, and add rows, clips and filters without leaving landscape view.

✨ New Features

Playback Controls

  • Added new options in Global Preferences to adjust Fast-Forward/Rewind speeds:
  • Playback FF/RWD Speed: Adjusts the multiplier of the current playback speed.
  • Paused FF/RWD Speed: Adjusts the actual stepping speed when the video is paused.

Clips & Timeline Enhancements

  • Added new buttons to the Clips Sidebar in Landscape:
  • Add Row button on the main rows page.
  • Filter button on both the main rows page and clips page.
  • Added ‘Add Clip’ icon to the landscape timeline overlay.
  • Added ability to swipe left to send to an existing composer and swipe right to add to a new composer from both Composer View and Clip View within a timeline.

🔨 Improvements

  • Tapping a comment reply notification now takes users directly into the video with the comment thread expanded.
  • Users can now send clips from one online composer to another.
  • When tapping an empty row in the landscape sidebar, the row is now selected in the timeline overlay while still showing the existing warning.
  • Video now automatically pauses when the Add Clip button is pressed.
  • Updated colour styling for non-playing clips to prevent underlying icons from showing during swipe gestures.
  • Selecting an empty row now clears all previously selected clips across all rows.
  • Updated incorrect login message from “Something went wrong. Please try again.” to the clearer “Invalid email or password.”
  • Comment section in portrait mode now aligns correctly with the top of the toolbar, accounting for different qualifier/notes overlay heights when clips are selected.

🐞 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed issue where multiple quick taps to step through a paused video, followed by pressing play, caused the overlay icon to show incorrect (accumulated) time values.
  • Fixed a bug preventing uploaded composers shared via swipe gesture from appearing in recipients’ Shared with Me section.
  • Back arrow in the Send/Create Composer workflow now correctly steps back through the process without dismissing the modal.
  • Fixed UI issue where the Clip Comment page in portrait mode didn’t rise high enough, exposing buttons beneath.
  • Fixed issue where the step-forward overlay icon remained on screen when tapping stepping controls while paused.
