Append videos on upload and a redesigned Shared With Me

Build a single movie from several videos at upload, filter with more precision, and browse a redesigned Shared With Me area.

Please ensure all users update their apps as they will experience compatibility issues with the latest Web updates if running the old app versions due to subfolders and movie collection UI changes.

✨ New Features

🎬 Upload & Video Management

  • Added an “Append Videos” option when uploading multiple videos on mobile.
  • Combine selected videos into a single movie in the order they were selected from the Camera Roll or Files list.
  • Added ability to rearrange videos before appending by dragging them into the desired order before upload.

🔎 Filtering Enhancements

  • Added new All / Any filtering options to the Filter by Qualifiers menu:
    • All = clips must contain all selected qualifiers.
    • Any = clips can contain any selected qualifiers.
  • Can also be combined with existing AND / OR filtering logic for more advanced searches.

📝 Composer Improvements

  • Re-designed the landscape Composer sidebar with topic headers to better separate clips.
  • Added ability to long press and drag clips in the landscape Composer sidebar to reorder them.
  • Added multi-select support in the landscape Composer sidebar for sending multiple clips to another composer.
  • Added Delete button beside selected clip count for bulk deletion.
  • Added Undo button to the landscape Composer sidebar.

📂 Shared With Me Redesign

  • Introduced a new Shared With Me experience with Most Recently Shared Files support.
  • Files View is now the default landing page and shows:
    • Uploaded files from shared folders in a single list outside of their folder structures
    • Online Composers in a unified list alongside these shared files
  • Added sorting by Most Recently Shared.
  • Folders View continues to show all shared folders and Online Composers together in one list.

📁 Folders & Navigation

  • Added subfolder compatibility.
  • Users can now tap the purple file path display to jump directly to specific folder levels.

🎞️ Timeline & Collection UI

  • Added Movie Collection and Reference Timeline grouping UI to better match the web experience.

🔨 Improvements

  • Qualifiers outside movie time boundaries no longer appear in filter options.
  • Unavailable qualifier combinations are now greyed out once a qualifier is selected.
  • File lists now automatically refresh when processing completes.
  • Added warning popup when attempting to merge non-Online Composer files from Shared With Me.
  • Added warning popup when attempting to merge into shared Online Composers without Create permissions.
  • Tapping a clip while in multi-select mode no longer clears existing selections and now simply moves the playhead.
  • Updated Movie Collection file icons to match web styling.
  • Updated Online Composer icon colours to better differentiate between online and uploaded composers.

🐞 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed crash when:
    • An upload was processing in the background.
    • A second upload started.
    • A processing-complete notification appeared for the previous upload.
  • Fixed issue where long topic names caused the Delete Topic icon to extend off-screen in landscape Composer sidebar.
  • Fixed UI issues on smaller iPhone screens where Composer sidebar icons extended outside their borders.
  • Fixed issue where upload progress could remain stuck on “Processing” despite the file being complete.
  • Fixed crash when a row was selected without the playhead over a clip and Play was pressed from a paused state in Timeline View.
