Introducing the Composer
⭐️ New: the Composer
Piston is taking the next step to becoming your one-stop solution for capture and presentation. Send Cuts from multiple sessions into one arrangeable presentation, ideal for half time and quarter time reviews on match day.
- ➕ Add Cuts from the Cut Archive, the Cuts List or the Cut Player to a new or existing Composer. A Cut can go into several Composers.
- 🧭 Jump to the Composer Archive from the Session or Cut Player.
- 🔀 Re-arrange the order so your presentation plays through exactly as you want.
- 🎥 All angles included. Every available angle in a Cut is in the Composer.
- 👆 Navigate by swiping down and up for next and previous, or tap a clip in the right sidebar. Choose to play through to the next clip or pause at the end of each clip.
- ⌨️ Keyboard shortcuts work in the Composer.
- 📷 Add videos from your camera roll to include content captured outside Piston.
⭐️ Also new
- 🔍 Filter timeline Markers by Qualifiers.
- 🔎 Search Qualifiers and Categories in the Cuts List and Cuts Archive filter.
- 📊 Export a CSV of all Markers in a local Session by swiping right on it in the Sessions list.
- 🏷️ Server name or address shown next to the Server Session or Live Sessions heading.
🔨 Improved
- iPhone interface and web server access from the app.
- Localising and the visual Localisation menu.
- Sharing a merged Cut no longer includes JSON by default.
🐛 Fixed
- A viewer user could see the Note Marker icon but not use it.
- A crash when screen recording a split screen view, and when pushing up Cut info bars while a Cut was being made.
- Squares in drawings ignored certain settings.
- The Note Marker created when a note is added to a Cut did not match the selected Marker colour.
- Sharing Current Angle from a Cut sometimes shared the sidebar angle.
