Multiple organisations, scheduled sessions and camera groups
The organisation features and the new Start Session features need a server running our latest Piston Server software. Contact your Fulcrum support team member to arrange the update.
๐ข Organisations
- Multiple organisations. Log in to and switch between several organisations on one server.
- Organisation name shown. It now appears beneath the Sessions header in the Sessions List.
- Root users. They can log in without an organisation and see content across all organisations.
๐ฌ Sessions
- New Start Session screen. Redesigned to match the latest web interface.
- Scheduled sessions. Set a start and end time, and see upcoming sessions in a new Scheduled Sessions section in the Sessions List.
- Camera groups. Select cameras by group.
- Drop frame monitoring. Start it from the Start Session menu.
- Share with another organisation. Do it directly from the Start Session menu.
โ๏ธ Drawings
- Keep Drawing After Switching Angles. A new setting that leaves drawings visible when you change camera angle.
- Use Same Drawing for All Angles. A new setting, off by default, that carries drawings across every angle.
- Better, more consistent tools. Drawing tools behave more consistently across tools and angles.
- New default colour. Drawings now default to purple instead of yellow.
- Synced opacity. Opacity controls stay in step across menus.
๐จ Improved
- Clearer error messages when you are logged out automatically.
- Logging in to a new server is no longer interrupted by failed background reconnection attempts.
๐ Fixed
- Preset drawings stacked incorrectly when you switched between presets.
- Applying a preset drawing removed your existing drawings instead of adding to them.
- Sharing raw files or sessions from local sessions did not open the Apple Share menu.
- Freehand drawing in the Cuts Player did not work correctly.
- Stroke width and opacity changes were not applied immediately.
- The drawing colour picker did not show the colour you had selected.
- Opacity was inconsistent across freehand, arrow and line tools.
- Switching between drawing tools could cause the wrong tool to behave.
- Drawing gestures clashed with angle switching gestures.
