New "Add Camera from URL" on the Settings page — paste an RTSP, RTMP or SRT stream URL, press Sample to probe what the source delivers (codec, resolution, frame rate, audio), then create the camera profile in one step
HLS and MP4 outputs each choose Copy (record the native stream untouched) or Transcode (standard Piston profiles — 720p 4M HLS, full-resolution 6M MP4) independently, with hardware encoders detected on the box (Intel QSV first)
Audio can be recorded on both outputs, HLS only, MP4 only, or dropped entirely
Sources that aren't H.264 are automatically steered to a transcoded HLS stream so browser playback works, keeping the MP4 master on lossless copy
Fixes
Camera URLs containing "&" (Dahua/Amcrest realmonitor-style query strings) no longer break the recording command — the input URL is now safely quoted
