Timelines grouped under Movie Collections

Uploaded timelines now sit under their Movie Collection, so everything for a session lives in one place. The video player sidebar and processing status are clearer too.

⭐️ New Features

🎬 Timeline & File Management UI Redesign

  • Uploaded timelines are now displayed as child timelines beneath their Movie Collection in the File Management lists.
  • Deleting an individual timeline will not affect the underlying movie.
  • Sharing a Movie Collection will share the movie and all timelines within it.
  • Sharing an individual timeline will share the movie and only that specific timeline.

🎥 Video Player Sidebar Improvements

  • The video player sidebar now groups timelines beneath the Movie Collection they belong to for clearer navigation.

🔄 Refresh Processing Status

  • A new “Refresh Status” button is available while files are processing.
  • This forces a background check with AWS in case processing has completed but the file status has not yet updated in the database.

  • Security improvements to further protect user video data.
  • Significant improvements to streaming speed and performance, particularly when viewing content from regions different to where the server is hosted.

📥 Online Composer Downloads

  • Download icon is now hidden in My Online Composers when an organisation has no Download Hours allocated.
  • Individual clip downloads from Online Composers now begin downloading directly from the browser, allowing users to close the tab once the download starts.
  • Added estimated ZIP file size to the download modal.
  • Improved preparation and zipping speeds when downloading Online Composers as individual clips.

🐞 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed issue where existing Standalone Movie with JSON & Padding downloads could not be re-used correctly.
  • Fixed upload hour tracking when deleting content from the Content Admin page.
  • Fixed issue where deleting a user did not remove their Online Composers from Shared with Me and Content Admin.
  • Fixed issue where double-clicking a new row in the timeline did not immediately update the clip information overlay.
  • Fixed issue where hovering over the download icon no longer highlighted previously downloaded clips with a green border.
  • Fixed issue where thumbnails for videos and composers did not appear on first login until the page was refreshed.
