Share content externally, pin favourites and search the platform

Get footage to the people who need it, wherever they are. Email videos to people without an Amplify account, pin your favourite content, search the whole platform and manage your generated downloads.

🌐 Share Content Externally

• Added Share Externally to the Actions menu when right-clicking a file
• Share videos directly via email to people who don’t have an Amplify account
• Choose which video angles to include and, when sharing a timeline, optionally include the JSON
• Option to send yourself a copy of the email
• Add a custom message to the email
• Set an expiry date for the download link when sharing. Organisation Admins can also configure the default expiry period in Preferences
• Added Copy Downloadable Link to the Copy Link menu in the video player toolbar for quickly copying an external download link

📌 Pin Favourite Content

• Added a Pin option to folders, files and Online Composers
• Pinned items always remain at the top of the list regardless of sorting
• Pinned folders can be reordered using drag and drop

🔍 Platform Search

• Added a global search box to the toolbar, allowing users to search the entire platform by content name

⚙️ Mobile Preferences Sync

• Added a Mobile Preferences tab to the Preferences menu
• Users can now synchronise their Web and Mobile preferences in either direction

📤 Improved Video Uploads

• When uploading multiple MOV/MP4 files, users can now choose to:

• Create a Multi-Angle Collection (up to 4 files)

• Append Videos

• Queue Videos Separately

• Added Upload Additional Angle(s) to Movie Collections

• Upload additional video angles directly into an existing Movie Collection

• The same option is also available by right-clicking a Movie Collection in the video player sidebar

♻️ Restore Deleted Folders

• Entire deleted folders can now be restored from the Deleted Content archive, just like individual files

👥 More Flexible Sharing

• Added a checkbox when sharing a Movie Collection to choose whether to:

• Share all timelines within the collection

• Share only the Movie Collection itself

📥 Online Composer Download Improvements

• Redesigned the Download Online Composer window
• Multiple download types (Standalone Movie, Movie with Padding and Individual Clips) can now be prepared at the same time from the one composer

🛠 Generated Downloads Management

• Added a new section to Content Admin allowing Organisation Admins to:

• View generated Online Composer downloads

• Download existing exports

• Delete generated downloads

• Create downloadable links

🚀 Performance & Reliability

• Significant frontend performance improvements for large timelines containing many clips, comments and qualifiers
• Added upload warnings when footage may contain mixed codecs, multiple tracks or unsupported audio formats, recommending transcoding in Angles first
• Uploads now stop before exceeding an organisation’s storage limit and display a clear warning

🎬 Timeline & Comments

• Comment qualifiers exported to JSON now use a default purple colour
• Clips containing multiple Note Types now correctly display every Note Type in the Clip Information overlay
• Changed Delete to Delete Timeline for individual reference timelines
• Last Modified now reflects timeline edits as well as file changes
• Added the ability to switch between sorting by Created and Last Modified throughout the platform

👤 Organisation Admin Improvements

• Organisation Admins can now:

• Share any content from Content Admin regardless of re-share permissions

• Share content with themselves

• Delete other users’ comments and replies

• Fully edit files accessed through Content Admin

• When deleting a user:

• Shared Online Composers can now be inherited

• Online Composers that were never shared are automatically deleted

• Deleted users are now automatically signed out of all browsers the next time they interact with the platform

🎨 User Interface Improvements

• Removed the collaborators/status column heading within folders to simplify the interface

• Fixed issue where completed aVault uploads opened the Movie Collection instead of the uploaded timeline
• Fixed issue where Movie Collections uploaded without timelines did not inherit angle names
